Between the new PowerStack battery and this portable USB battery charger, both releasing this year, Dewalt is setting new standards in the evolution of power tool batteries.  The DCB094K is a revolutionary way to charge your power tool batteries or your personal devices.  It's a portable USB battery charger that features a bi-directional USB-C port, meaning you can use it to charge your power tool batteries or you use your batteries to charge your phone.

While there have been other USB battery adapters, such as the Makita DEAAP05, the DCB094K marks a new wave of charging solutions.  This is (almost certainly) the first ever bi-directional, high-power USB-C port portable charger for power tools.  Using the bi-directional port, you are able to input or output up to 100W of power allowing you to rapidly charge your power tool batteries, or personal devices.  

The USB-A port acts as an adapter allowing you to charge devices up to 12W using your traditional USB cords.  This is ideal for jobsites lacking AC power as it can keep your phones, laptops, or battery packs going no problem. 

This USB charging kit is compatible with 18V and FlexVolt batteries, whether charging them or using them as a power source to charge other devices, allowing for even more flexibility, built in belt clip and all! Now we just need heated clothing to move to USB C connections...
