Compact tool with high performance

The Makita DTD170Z cordless impact driver features a high performance 175Nm brushless motor. The user has the option to choose between the two modes: 'A' or 'T' mode. A mode helps to eliminate 'screw cam out' and 'cross threading' by driving at low speed unit screw begins to tighten. T mode the fastening mode for self drilling screws. When fastening screws in the Assist mode the driver starts slowly in order to stabilise the screw before the trigger is fully depressed. Assist mode is perfect for timber drilling, and Tex mode for metal drilling.
